3rd- 5th Tiger Power Club (Tues/ Thurs)
The 3rd-5th Grade Tiger Power Club will be led by Darlington's Head Football Coach and Director of Strength and Conditioning. The Tiger Power Club will meet every Tuesday and Thursday starting March 19th and will end on April 11th from 3:15 to 4:15.
From Coach Groves:
I am excited to introduce you to Tiger Power, a new strength and conditioning club designed specifically for 3rd through 5th graders! Our goal is to introduce your child to the fundamentals of strength and conditioning in a fun and engaging environment.
At Tiger Power, we believe that developing a strong foundation in physical fitness at a young age can lead to a lifetime of health and wellness. Through my carefully crafted program, we aim to spark a passion for strength and conditioning in your child while teaching them essential skills that will benefit them both on and off the field or court.
Our curriculum focuses on teaching the basics of strength, speed, flexibility, agility, and plyometrics. Using a variety of tools such as training bars, PVC pipes, kettlebells, bodyweight calisthenics, and plyometric exercises, we will introduce your child to a wide range of movements and techniques in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to building strength and endurance, we will also prioritize proper running mechanics, agility training, and flexibility/mobility work to help your child move efficiently and reduce the risk of injury during physical activity.
The cost of the 8 sessions will be $50 and will include a T-shirt.
Parent pickup will be at 4:15 at the Huffman parking lot. If a student is not picked up at this time, they will be escorted to Extended Day, which does have a cost associated with it.
